One of the greatest strengths of Farmers for Monarchs is our members. When farmers, conservation organizations, and agricultural companies come together around a shared goal, real progress happens for monarchs and for working lands.
Today, we’re sharing two videos from members of the Farmers for Monarchs coalition that showcase monarch conservation in action, from an Iowa farm family to a national partnership working across agricultural landscapes.
Landowner Spotlight: The Webster Family
This Landowner Spotlight from the Iowa Monarch Conservation Consortium highlights the Webster family and their commitment to conservation.
On their farm, conservation isn’t an afterthought. By buffering streams, restoring forests, and enhancing windbreaks, the Websters are strengthening the long-term sustainability of their land while creating valuable habitat for monarchs and other pollinators. Their approach demonstrates how conservation practices can enhance soil health, protect water quality, and support biodiversity all while maintaining a productive agricultural operation.
Their story reflects what we believe at Farmers for Monarchs: monarch conservation works best when it’s practical, locally driven, and aligned with the goals of farm families.

National Collaboration for Monarch Habitat
Scaling monarch conservation requires partnership across sectors. This second video, from Syngenta and featuring Monarch Joint Venture highlights how collaborative efforts can expand habitat across agricultural landscapes.
Monarch Joint Venture brings together partners nationwide to coordinate science-based conservation strategies, while Syngenta works with farmers and conservation groups to help integrate habitat into working lands. Together, they demonstrate how industry and nonprofit leadership can align in support of shared environmental goals.

A Coalition in Action
We are proud to count the Iowa Monarch Conservation Consortium, Monarch Joint Venture, and Syngenta among the members of Farmers for Monarchs. Their work alongside farmers, ranchers, researchers, and conservation leaders across the country reflects the power of voluntary, collaborative conservation supporting the monarch butterfly and other pollinators. These members show that monarch habitat can thrive on working lands.
